In Galway a group of young people who left education early have built their own racing car.

The construction of the rally car is seen as a great achievement by a group of young people in Galway.

Since buying a shell of a car, the group has been working on it for months and rebuilding the engine and spraying the bodywork.

The local priest who was looking for an outlet for young people is pleased with the project which was to help some of those who have dropped out of school early. A community based workshop was set up with the assistance of AnCO.

In the building of this car from a shell right through to now being on the brink of entering into a rally is for me the realisation of a dream.
