Children pay a visit to Santa's Castle in Dún Laoghaire Shopping Centre.

Children visiting Santa Claus at his castle in Dún Laoghaire Shopping Centre are eager  to tell him what they would like for Christmas. In response to a request for a Scalextric racing set, two motorbikes and two cars Santa exclaims

The Lord save us, how am I going to get down the chimney with all those?

Santa asks some of the children what presents their parents would like. A little girl called Judith thinks her Mammy would like perfume and her Daddy would like a new razor blade. One boy thinks his mother would like a new house.

Some of the children are brave enough to ask Santa questions about himself. A boy called Fraser enquires about Santa's journey to Dún Laoghaire and a girl asks about his activities during the summer. There is no downtime for Santa,

We’re packing and making toys the whole year round.

Santa is deeply touched by a beautiful picture one of the girls has made especially for him,

You’re a lovely little girl, that’s a lovely surprise for Santa.
