A Limerick artist has had success with the internationally syndicated comic strip series 'Dear God Kids'.

A graduate of the Limerick School of Art and Design, Anne Fitzgerald has been able to make a living from working full time as an artist.

In addition to landscape painting, she is the creator of Dear God Kids, a highly successful series of endearing illustrations, comic strips, books, stationary and figurines showing children's conversations with the Almighty.

Their message is clear, says Anne who is a committed Christian,

What I am doing is bringing God into everyday situations.

Anne Fitzgerald says if it helps the average person in the street to see that God is everywhere, that can only be of benefit to them.  Even if some people only see her illustrations in a tabloid newspaper, where naked fashion models also feature,

You belong to God, and God belongs to you...that’s the message for everybody.
