Tallaght will have a new shopping and leisure complex the biggest of its kind in the country.

The development of the 28 acre site in Tallaght when complete will house five major stores, a twelve screen cinema, 130 shops, five restaurants, and parking for 2,000 cars. 

It's been a long sought development which will make the new town a better place for all its people.

Minister for the Environment Padraig Flynn was on hand at the topping off ceremony and outlines on how the new centre will provide a central focal point for Tallaght alongside the new hospital and regional technical college.
