The Sunday Business Post a publication dedicated to business aims to win a share of the Irish newspaper market.

A new Sunday newspaper comes to the market specialising in business content.

The Business Post is designed for anyone for a broad interest in business news.

The target readership is the AB category, people on high salaries with disposable income. Promoters are aiming for a circulation of twenty five to thirty thousand.

Every Sunday, over a million newspapers are sold in Ireland. Chief Executive of the Sunday Business Post Frank Fitzgibbon envisages that many will buy the Sunday Business Post as an add on product because of their interest in business.

There are a large number of people who buy two Irish newspapers on a Sunday and a British newspaper maybe. So, they possibly replace one of the Irish papers.

The new paper is based on a the low cost business model with a small number of staff differentiating it from most newspapers. Unlike rival papers that cover a range of topics The Sunday Business Post is devoted to specialised content.
