A European Economic Community conference looks at fairness and prejudice for women in agriculture.
The EEC conference held at Dublin Castle looked to address the many and varied problems of equality on the land. Minister of State Nuala Fennell highlighted areas such as remuneration, training and social welfare.
Taoiseach Dr Garret FitzGerald drew on some personal experience when addressing the theme of equality.

Delegates were reminded that equality applies also to single women involved in agriculture.
