Dundalk man dances for a week in aid of cancer charity.

Francis O'Brien from Dundalk is doing a week long dance marathon in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. Three days into the danceathon at the Rosnaree Hotel in Drogheda he is still going strong.

I'm feeling absolutely great.

Apart from a small pain in his right calf there have been no major issues yet. Sleep is for two hours between 6.00 am to 8.00 am.

If you stopped, you'd never start again.

For variety Francis mixes up his dance routine while for motivation he has been aided by hypnotist Barry Sinclair. Francis achieves this by creating a positive image his subconscious mind. He is determined to reach his target and raise awareness and money for the Irish Cancer Society. The money raised will be put towards funding a treatment machine which will cost £400,000.

When the challenge is complete Francis is looking forward to a nice cold bath.
