A new arrival at Dublin Zoo as a baby giraffe is born.
The giraffe has been named Aoife and is the fifth calf of mother Grainne and father Cormac.
As with all giraffes, her markings are unique like a human fingerprint.
At just two weeks old Aoife is already making her first public appearances at Dublin Zoo.
Aoife will eventually reach a height of around fifteen feet. Dublin Zoo says that the mortality rate for new born giraffes born in the wild can be as high as fifty per cent.
