Labhraíonn Bob Quinn le RTÉ maidir leis na pleananna atá aige chun scannán a dhéanamh go h-iomlán trí mheán na Gaeilge.
Independent filmmaker Bob Quinn has received Arts Council funding for 'Poitín' an Irish language film script. Quinn had run a film making course in Connemara, out of which came a script proposal by Cóilín Baireád. The story was worked on and an application made to the Arts Council for funding. Bob Quinn describes the film as,
Scéal faoi aspect, mar a dearfá, i gConamara, agus baineann sé le poitín agus eachtra a tharlaíonn do beirt i gConamara.
'Poitín' will be produced by Bob Quinn's company Cinegael. The film will be shot in Connemara, entirely through the medium of Irish, with production scheduled to start in the summer. Bob Quinn sees this award as an acknowledgement of the talents of both people in Ireland and of the Irish-speaking community,
Tá sé tábhachtach mar taispeánann sé nach gá gach rud a bheith i mBearla.
