Cable will mean more broadcast channels can be delivered to homes.
Cablelink announces plans for a major £2 million development programme to improve their service in the Dublin region. Cablelink have also submitted an application to the Minister for Communications to provide an experimental satellite channel.
According to Kevin Windle, Managing Director of Cablelink,
Cable is the most efficient way of distributing television and other signals to people's homes.
Kevin Windle will wait to see if people are interested in having more than six television channels.
