The Ó Conchubhair family agree to go without their television for one week.

Eldest son of the Ó Conchubhair family Naoise Ó Conchubhair describes the types of programmes that each of the family members normally watches. Father of the family Gearóid Ó Conchubhair tells of occasionally missing the news but not much else. He feels there was a novelty to living without television that enabled the family to do other things with their time. He also says that it was fine to live without television for one week but the story might be different after a number of months.

Muireann Ní Mhóráin, mother of the family, says that living without television allowed them to do things together as a family. Youngest daughter of the family Míde Ní Chonchubhair says she likes to watch television while having breakfast. Youngest son of the family Ultan had a busy week without TV.

The family are happy to have the television back in the living room where it belongs.
