Dundalk are almost League of Ireland champions but with one point still needed Jim McLaughlin remains cautious.

After beating Shamrock Rovers at Milltown in their League of Ireland clash the Dundalk manager Jim McLaughlin refuses to make any predictions on who will be champions.

I won't accept that we have won it until they have said that you are the league champions

Dundalk will go on to face Cork Hibernians and Sligo Rovers to wrap up the League for the first time in nine years.

Jim McLaughlin talks about Dundalk's performance in the league to date. He says that the team learned most from their one defeat. He talks about the club's most recent signing Alan Spavin who made his debut for Dundalk against Shelbourne on 29 February 1976.

I knew I'd backed a winner straight away
