The battle of the barbecues will take place in Fenore, Co. Clare and champion cooks from all over are coming to stake their claim on the prize.
On 19 July 1985 Morning Ireland reports on Ireland's first World Barbecue and Cook Off Championships. The event will be held in Fenore, Co. Galway. Legendary barbecue cook Ray Big Red Gills, and the 1985 Holy Smokers World Champion John Willingham will be flying in for the event.
