A look back at Dublin's Gay Theatre Festival with founder Brian Merriman.

The annual event was first held in 2004 to celebrate the 150th birth of Dublin-born writer Oscar Wilde. This year's festival presents work by theatre companies from Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, South Africa, Iceland and Russia in various venues throughout the city.

Brian Merriman, founder of the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival, appeared on 'Mooney' in 2010, when the festival was about to head into its 1400th performance. Brian tells Derek Mooney about what's on offer at this year's festival.

We are heading into our 13th sell-out performances.. We're delighted

This edition of 'Mooney' was broadcast on 13 May 2010.
