The programme examines the human element of flight preparation and meets the pilots and crew as they prepare for flight.
This excerpt from the programme shows the baggage being loaded onto an Aer Lingus plane, the pilot boarding the plane, the various technical checks prior to flight, and passengers boarding the plane. Air traffic controllers communicate directly with the pilot as the plane taxis down the runway and takes flight.
