RTÉ Archives has published a new exhibition, Immigration and the Changing Face of Ireland.Emigration has long been a part of Irish life as generations have these left shores. ln recent years Ireland become a destination for immigrants who came to make a new life here.

This exhibition presents some of their stories, as covered by RTÉ Television and Radio from the early 1960s to the rapid rise in immigration in the late 1990s and early 2000. People who have come to live in Ireland from all over the world talk about their experiences upon arrival and the levels of acceptance and assimilation as Ireland became their home.
