Dermot Bannon says he's got "an itch or a mid-life crisis"
As Room to Improve returns, Dermot Bannon tells Janice Butler about working with Daniel O’Donnell and getting his own house in order. Get a sneak peek of this week's RTÉ Guide below.
"We need tonnes of space – we’ve three kids now and when we bought the house we only had one. I do nothing to our house; I barely hang up a picture. But I’ll put a huge amount of energy into other people’s homes."
While he hasn’t entertained the notion of moving or renovating, he explains that he’s now got "an itch or a mid-life crisis."
"I haven’t had the desire to do something to our house for a very long time but I do now," he says.
"Between the family, the business and the TV show, it’s all engulfed us the last few years but I have this feeling now that I’ve a project in me."
