Appeal for witnesses to school bus crash in Limerick

The crash happened at around 8.30am on Wednesday

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a crash between a car and a school bus in Limerick on Wednesday morning.

The collision happened at Connolly's Cross, Caherconlish as the bus was travelling towards Hospital village on the R513.

The car was travelling from Mitchelstown towards Caherconlish.

More than 30 people were treated in hospital after the crash, with four being admitted.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses, especially anyone who may have been on that stretch of road at the relevant time and/or may have dash cams are asked to contact them at Roxboro Road at 061 214340, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
