The RTÉ Information Office staff are there to answer any general questions you may have about RTÉ’s programming and services and welcomes comment and feedback on RTÉ programmes and services. Comments made to Information Office staff are included in the RTÉ Audience Log which is circulated to RTÉ’s senior programme management and submitted at RTÉ’s Editorial Meetings.
Please NoteThe RTÉ Information Office has no editorial input into programmes which means:
- Information office staff cannot fast-track your call to a live programme. If you would like your views read out on air, to comment on the topics being discussed, or to participate on a programme, then you need to contact the programme directly using the contact details provided by the programme teams.
- Information office staff cannot petition programme teams with ideas/topics for discussion. If you would like an issue raised on a programme, you will need to contact the programme directly.* RTÉ Information office staff will provide contact details for programmes if required.

How do I apply for work experience in RTÉ?
RTÉ has a number of work experience placements available to Transition Year Students during February/March each year. RTÉ deals directly with the schools, not the students. Therefore, students should contact their Transition Year Co-ordinator for details. RTÉ does not offer work experience or internships. I saw/heard a programme on RTÉ. How do I get a copy of it on DVD or CD?
Requests for copies of television programmes and archive footage can be made online from our Libraries & Archives website. There is a charge for this service.
Should you require a copy of an RTÉ Radio programme, the email contact is: email@example.com. All copies are subject to transfer fees and terms and conditions.
