    First Bike

The joy brought by the first bike of your childhood is a cherished memory by most.  Whether you had a Chopper or a BMX, a My Little Pony bike with streamers or a Triumph, the bicycle was the single coveted item which provided countless hours of fun and independence for children everywhere.  Simon O'Connor, curator of the Little Museum of Dublin, actor Noelle Brown and comedian PJ Gallagher talk about their first bikes.

    Garth Brooks

This is the weekend it was all meant to kick off.... those concerts and that country singer.  Dale Farrell of Nevada Signs in Co. Offaly is giving people a way to still mark the occasion.  He is selling bumper stickers featuring Garth Brooks, the Irish flag and the Stars and Stripes flag.  The high quality vinyl stickers are being sold through Done Deal and eBay at a cost of €6 for one sticket and two stickers for €10.

    Dusty Springfield

Dusty Springfield was one of the greatest musical stars of the 20th century and was at the very epicentre of 1960s music.  Echoes of her work can still be clearly heard in countless modern day female singers.  In the 1970's Dusty's life spiralled out of control and she battled addictions, mental illness and struggled hard to come to terms with her sexuality.  Karen Bartlett talks to Dave about her book called 'Dusty, an Intimate Portrait of a Musical Legend,' which chronicles the life of Dusty Springfield.
