Best Loved Cat 2009: LUNG

Lung came into our lives when he was just a kitten. We adopted him after he had been brought into our vet in a terrible state having been knocked down by a car. He had an operation and sadly lost one of his lungs.

From the first day he moved in, he made our house an incredibly happy home and completed our family. We never leave him anywhere and he has even driven across Europe with us staying in only the best pet friendly hotels. He always makes us laugh with his incredibly loud meow and his tendency to steal and hide underwear!

Best Loved Dog 2009: BETTY

Betty is a celebrity in the small seaside village of Loughshinny in North Co. Dublin where she visits all her neighbours daily! She is more often than not; found spending her mornings on the sofa of one of her many admirers! (She is always home in time for lunch!)

It’s not just the Loughshinny residents who adore Betty! She has been placed in many Charity Mongrel showing classes, she Has three first prize ribbons to her name!

We came to acquire her when our vet found her, hungry and homeless, with a badly infected eye, which unfortunately had to be removed. (It doesn’t at all hamper her beauty!) He knew that Betty would find a good home with us, so it is here that she now calls home.
