Are you a total "weather whiz"? Have you ever dreamt of being a TV star?
Well if so, Avonmore - Ireland's favourite milk, in association with RTÉ, is giving you the chance to prove your skills, by presenting your very own weather bulletin on RTÉ Television!
Five lucky children aged between 7 and 12 will win the opportunity to come to the RTÉ Weather Studios in Dublin, to be personally coached on all the tricks of the trade by the weather team. Firstly, you'll learn all about weather forecasting, including how to put together your own forecast. Then you'll be trained on how to "present" in front of the TV cameras. After this, you'll get a once in a lifetime chance to present your own weather bulletin in the RTÉ Weather Studio - which will then be broadcast that same day on RTÉ Two's news2day.
Each winner (plus guardian) will also receive a tour of RTÉ, a souvenir DVD copy of their bulletin, as well as overnight accommodation and dinner in a top Dublin Hotel. This will all take place on week commencing 3rd December. All winners will also receive a brilliant computer for their class.
