Mary, Mary...
In 1932, the Virgin Mary was declared "Queen of Ireland" by the Pope Pius XI. For some, that sort of Marian piety belongs to another age, and yet from an ex-football hooligan, who believes Mary saved him from a life of drugs and violence, to a young Mayo artist and mother and a Dublin cobbler, this film discovers a surprising number of Irish people who remain devoted to "the Queen of the May."
