Part One

When she takes a new post at a hospital in Ireland, young midwife Louise becomes concerned at what she perceives to be an irregularly high number of caesarean hysterectomies carried out by consultant surgeon Dr Neary. Despite the risks, she sets in train a course of events which results in a full investigation.
