Cast Biographies

Louise - Emma Stansfield
Apart from impressive theatre credentials Emma may also be familiar to viewers from a range of television roles including Kim in Heartbeat, Sally Harper in The Bill and Ronny in Coronation Street. Other television guest appearances include roles in Doctors, Holby City and The Royal.

Karen - Charlene McKenna
Charlene has played a diverse range of lead roles in television dramas such as Single Handed - The Stolen Child, Pure Mule and Prosperity. Charlene will also feature in the upcoming drama series Raw.

Flor Wycherley - Adrian Dunbar
Writer, director and actor, Adrian is well known to viewers from lead roles in films such as Hear My Song and The General. Adrian has also appeared in a range of television dramas such as Cracker, Force of Duty and Murder in Mind.

Dr Michael Neary - Stanley Townsend
Born and raised in Dublin Stanley was a co-founder of Rough Magic Theatre company and is an accomplished stage actor. Since moving to London, television appearances have included acclaimed shows such as Spooks, The Commander, Hustle, Waking the Dead and Omagh Bombing. Last year saw Stanley as a series lead in the drama series Rough Diamond for the BBC.

Josephine - Hilda Fay
Dublin actress Hilda Fay is best known to audiences as Tracey in Fair City. Other film and television work includes the role of Gavin's Ma in Prosperity, Maggie in Magdalena and Mrs Kelly in Proof. A versatile stage actress and has toured the country in productions for the Gaiety, Tivioli and Andrews Lane Theatre. Hilda was also the winner in last years Celebrity Jigs & Reels.

Sean - Patrick Ryan
Having graduated in Acting Studies from Trinity College, Patrick has considerable experience in theatre and has toured across Ireland. Other television credits include a role in Northanger Abbey and the role of Danny in Pure Mule.

Marie - Kathy Rose O'Brien
Kathy Rose graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2006. In addition to a substantial body of theatre roles Kathy's recent work for television and screen includes George Gently for BBC and a short film: Daughter of the Brotherhood

Miller - Michael McElhatton
Writer and actor Michael McElhatton has played a diverse range of roles on stage and screen. Michael has received an IFTA nomination for best actor on a number of occasions for the lead roles he played in Hide and Seek, Fergus's Wedding, Paths to Freedom and Spin the Bottle. Later this year Michael will also feature in Single Handed - The Drowning Man.
