Programme 2: Aga Aleksiuk
Programme 2 has expired.Aga Aleksiuk is in her 20s and originally from a seaside town in Poland. She came to Ireland five years ago and now lives in Dublin. Her first job was as a cleaner in a large supermarket. She also took on other cleaning jobs and worked hard to earn enough money to buy an apartment back in Poland as an investment. She rapidly progressed in the supermarket - moving through various roles in stock control, tills and on to management.
Right now Aga feels it's time for a change. She would like to build a career using her degree in child education and family counselling. Most of all though she is fed up with the hours she is required to work. While the supermarket has been good to her she really wants a job with set hours that also provides career progression potential. Enter careers consultant Lisa Holt.
