Sharon
is hard at work in this week's programme - providing you with the words
and phrases needed to talk about work!
In this
programme you will learn how to say where you work; what you want to
be; what you do for a living.
Sharon's
guest is barrister, journalist and mother of two Cynthia Ní Mhurchú.
Cynthia
first job was as a teacher in an Irish language primary school before
she moved to a job as television presenter and journalist. She was called
to the Bar in 1997 and now practices as a barrister.
Sharon
visits Gaelscoil Bharra, in Cabra, Dublin. She askes the teachers about
their jobs and talks to the students to find out what they want to do
and be when they grow up.
For this
week's soundscape we eavesdrop on two mechanics in Conamara and hear
them talk about their work.
‘An
Grá Faoi Ghlas’ - People in the house are more in the mood for love
rather than work! Aingeal thinks Stiofán may be the man for her but
fears that he may be more interested in Sorcha - but he has a surprise
in store for both of them!
It's again
time to vote someone out - who will it be?
