Join
Sharon in Donegal to hear about the literature and culture of the county
and learn how to talk about art, poetry and books.
Sharon
meets poet Cathal Ó Searcaigh, who lives on a small farm at Gortahork
in the Donegal Gaeltacht.
Ó
Searcaigh has, over the past decade, emerged as one of Ireland's most
distinguished poets and is fast gaining international renown through
translations
of his work.
Sharon
pays a visit to Tory Island where she meets some local people to see
what life is like on the island. A main topic for conversation is the
culture of the island and its famous school of painters.
The soundscape
this week takes us to a library for some quiet relaxation.
‘An
Grá Faoi Ghlas’ - In this weeks episode of An Grá faoi
Glas Aingeal shows a lot of interest in Stiofán and Rita
and Aingeal have an argument. Sorcha is finding the whole thing a bit
claustrophobic - as Darren finds out when he interrupts her reading!
