Born Sean John Combs, this music mogul became known as Puff Daddy and then P Diddy.
In 2005 he changed his name again, this time to Diddy much to the irritation of UK DJ Richard 'Diddy' Dearlove.
Apparently, Dearlove started receiving emails from girls asking if they could be in his next video!
P Diddy settled for more than ¤150,000 out of court and can't use the name Diddy in the UK.
Diddy has revealed that his new album, 'Press Play' may be his last.
Apparently he's giving up music for a career in acting. He feels that this is the right time as he reckons he's at his best in this album, singing all about love. (Come To Me - Downloads No 20).
Lily Allen has slated Jamelia. Surprised??
Jamelia's six-year-old daughter, Teja, is a fan of Lily's. The mum-of-two was worried about the adult references in Allen's songs. Supposedly, she made the record company the girls share make a children's copy of the album.
This did not impress our Lily, who said 'Maybe she should pay for that to get done herself . . . It's not coming out of my expenses!' (Something About You - Downloads No 16).
Three times platinum selling Chamillionaire is bringing his live show to Dublin for the very first time. The MTV VMA winning rapper will play the capital's new venue, Tripod, on November 11th.
Weird Al, famous for recording alternative versions of artists' songs, has taken on 'Ridin' and Chamillionaire has given him the thumbs up too!
He's put Weird Al's version, 'White and Nerdy' up on his own MySpace page!
Cham also reportedly told Al that he raps really well and was amazed with how he emulated his flow! (Ridin' - Downloads No 10).
Everyone's favourite former 'Baywatch' star, David Hasselhoff is making waves with his latest single 'Jump In My Car' which enters the Download chart at No 9.
The Hoff is now set to launch his own line of surfing clothes called 'Malibu Dave'. The man himself describes the range as 'super cool, laid back surfing gear'. But will they replace 'Don't Hassel the Hoff' T-shirts???
British band, The Automatic, famous for hits such as 'Monster' and 'Recover', are fans of The Hoff.
Apparently, they request a shrine to the former Knight Rider at every gig they play. Only a reported two venues have obliged so far though!
Razorlight have had a very good week. After reaching No 1 for the first time in the UK last Sunday with 'America', they won two gongs at the Vodafone Live Music Awards - Best Live Impact Award and Best Live Music DVD.
When asked at the music awards if success had brought any perks, lead singer Johnny Borrell apparently answered:
'I can afford a scooter now. It is great. I go everywhere on it.' Very rock 'n' roll, Johnny!! (America - Download No 2)
The Killers' second album 'Sam's Town' was surprisingly beaten to the No 1 position on the US billboard charts by 'The Open Door', the brand new album from Evanescence.
The Las Vegas rockers had to be content with the number two spot.
It's Green Day that Mr Flowers isn't particularly impressed with this week.
He seemingly singled out their song 'American Idiot' as very negative towards Americans.
Brandon reckons that Americans are the nicest people in the world!"
The Killers' front man also hopes their new album, 'Sam's Town', is from a more positive place. (When You Were Young - Download No 1).
Taken from Director's debut album 'We Thrive In Big Cities', 'Come With A Friend' is the follow-up to Malahide quartet's top 10 hit 'Reconnect'.
The gear in the video was borrowed from other Irish bands including The Marshals and The Blizzards.
Director is heavily involved in making their videos. This is mostly because they haven't really liked most of the ideas pitched to them.
Their self-produced debut album, 'We Thrive On Big Cities' went straight into the Irish album charts. It's at No 2 this week! (Come With A Friend - Irish chart No 10).
'Miles and Miles' is taken from The Frank and Walters' forthcoming album, 'A renewed Interest in Happiness'. This will be their first studio album since 'Glass' a whopping six years ago.
New album, 'A Renewed Interest In Happiness' began life in a friend's shed in Ballyvilly, Co Cork.
They had no heating, no running water and no sound-proofing - glamorous! The first creatures to hear their new recordings were the neighbouring cows!! (Miles and Miles - Irish charts No 5)
Snow Patrol frontman, Gary Lightbody, has hit out at US radio stations for playing outdated songs.
He supposedly said that "the radio is a place to hear the records you may one day like to own . . . not a graveyard for records you sold at the same car boot sale you sold your stonewashed denim jacket at."
Meanwhile Gary has declared his love for the Northern Ireland football team.
In Copenhagen, on the opening night of Snow Patrol's European tour, Gary said: "We're only a tiny, small, little country and we
beat Spain the other day . . . This song is for the Northern Ireland Football Team - I love them!" (Chasing Cars - Irish charts No 1).
