Theatre director Joe Dowling talks about bringing James Joyce's most famous short story The Dead to the Abbey stage. The adaptation by Frank McGuinness stars Stanley Townsend and Derbhle Crotty as Gabriel and Gretta Conroy, and the cast also includes Rosaleen Linehan and Lorcan Cranitch.
