Artist Alice Maher celebrates her work

with a major mid-career retrospective, Becoming, at IMMA's current temporary home of Earlsfort Terrace. John Kelly gets a guided tour.

Joseph O'Connor talks short stories and his collection, Where Have You Been? with Nadine O'Regan while Mike McCormack, author of Crowe's Requiem, tells Peter Murphy about his new stories, just published as Forensic Songs.

Led by clarinetist Evan Christopher, the four-piece band Django a la Creole mix the sounds of Django Reinhardt with New Orleans jazz rhythms. They are on national tour from 10th to 18th October, taking in Dublin, Dingle, Bray, Dundalk, Clifden, Carrick-on-Shannon, Letterkenny and Drogheda. Details on www.musicnetwork.ie
