Michelin-starred Chef Derry Clarke runs his Dublin restaurant 'L'Écrivain' along with his wife Sallyanne. Derry is renowned for his culinary expertise and has a reputation for innovative cooking. His cooking influences are both Irish and French and he prides himself in using the best local, seasonal produce to create his dishes.
Derry has received many awards along with his coveted Michelin Star, such as the 'Evian Food and Wine's' Best Restaurant 2003 & 2002, Best Restaurant in Dublin 2003 and Best Chef 2003. He also received the 'Bushmills Dining in Ireland Guide' Best Restaurant Award in 1999 and 2000 and also the Best Chef in 2000 and 2001. Derry was also inducted into the Food and Wine Magazine's 'Hall of Fame'.
