Tom Doorley:

"This was an enjoyable meal. I thought the crubeens were fabulous, although my favourite was the apple tartin. I have to say the worst thing on the menu was the lemon pasta. It was overdone and needed salt in the cooking water to give it some interest."

Paolo Tullio:

"When the crubeens landed on my table I was in heaven! They were just great - a good peasant dish, well cooked. I sucked the bones dry!"

Helen Lucy Burke:

"The angel hair pasta was not good, and I felt the cod was a little austere on the plate. It could've done with a little sauce to cheer it up. I loved the desserts, particularly elderflower and champagne sorbet ."
