In this weeks episode:
We investigate dyslexia, have useful tips on word building and spelling, and feature a really useful guide to parent / teacher meetings.
Programme also includes a studio interview with Margaret Doyle from the Career Path Centre in Celbridge, and Dean Malone, a former student of the centre who has gone back to school to redo his Leaving Cert. Margaret talks about the kind of support that the Career Path Centre can provide to people with dyslexia, and also demonstrates a useful learning tool that allows someone to dictate to a computer instead of typing something out. Dean talks about his initial experience in school and how he felt when he was first diagnosed as being dyslexic. He also talks about how the Celbridge Centre has built up his confidence in his own abilities.
