Voting Terms and Conditions

You should only vote for each track once. Please do not vote for either of the tracks more than once, or vote outside of the valid vote window, as you will be charged but your additional vote(s) will not be counted and you will not receive a download voucher.

RTÉ, on its own behalf and the behalf of any contractor, subcontractor, agent or production partner of RTÉ, does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem in any mobile telephone network or line, system, server, provider, or otherwise which may result in any vote being lost or not properly registered or recorded.

In the event of technical failure of any SMS voting system or malfunction or any other problem in any mobile telephone network or line, system, server, provider or otherwise that results in any vote or votes being lost or not properly registered or recorded, RTÉ and the production company shall be entitled to make whatever decision they deem appropriate in respect of the selection of which act/track progresses.

In the event of a tied vote, RTÉ and the production company shall be entitled to make whatever decision they deem appropriate in respect of the selection of which act/track progresses. In the event of any dispute regarding these rules and/or the conduct and/or the results of the vote the decision of RTÉ will be final.

RTÉ reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the vote and/or vary the voting terms and conditions without prior notice.

Any voter who, in the opinion of RTÉ, attempts to tamper with or inappropriately influence any part of the voting or interfere with or manipulate the voting procedure may be disqualified from further participation in the voting. RTÉ's decision in this regard will be final and conclusive.

RTÉ reserves the right to discount votes arising in ciscumstances where RTÉ suspects voting irregularities which may have inappropriately influenced or manipulated the voting procedures. RTÉ's decision in this regard will be final and conclusive.

Voters aged under 18 should ask bill payer's permission before voting as their vote will be charged for.

In return for your vote you will receive a unique code which can be used to download the track you voted for at www.therawsessions.ie.

The www.therawsessions.ie website is a third party site that is not owned, controlled or managed by RTÉ and each voter accepts that RTÉ will have no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any failure of any third party or any other problem which may result in non-redemption of track download from www.therawsessions.ie and that RTÉ has no responsibility or liability for the content, management and technical operation of the www.therawsessions.ie website or any external third party websites.
