THE PANEL

While everyone else is getting kicked about in the Christmas rush, The Panel is playing it cool.

We have the presents bought, the cards posted, the puddings cooling, the last show of 2008 in the can and Diarmuid Gavin is doing up a nice advent wreath for the hall table.

Indeed, everything is sorted; so all that's left for us to do is recline in front of a postcard-perfect wood fire and sip our highball glass of port and brandy...
