Congratulations to our overall winner, Trish Sullivan!
Trish won a trip for 2 to Cannes with accommodation at the 5 star luxury Lucienne Barriere Hotel; €1000 spending money AND Tickets to the World Photography Awards!

Judge: Kathryn Thomas - travel presenter on 'No Frontiers' who is no stranger to being on the other side of the camera. Kathryn loves to take photos and always makes sure to pack her camera on her travels.
Judge: Colin Stafford Johnson is an Emmy award winning cinematographer for his work on Mississippi - Tales of the Last River Rat for Discovery Channel. He has also worked with renowned broadcaster and naturalist David Attenborough on the well-received BBC series Planet Earth.
Colin was recently seen in Broken Tails Last Journey and is currently filming a new series of Living the Wildlife.
Our Six Finalists:
Finalist 1: Trish Sullivan: Her son Brian dressed as a chef chasing the turkeys.
Trish's son Brian asked her to tie his apron as he was playing dress up in the playroom. Next thing when she was looking out the kitchen window she saw him chasing after the turkey's. She thought it was a funny sight and a perfect photo opportunity.
Finalist 2: Alan Baynes: The Monks jumping into the Water
Alan took this picture while on holiday in Laos with his girlfriend. He thought it was such a beautiful sight to see novice Buddhist monks jumping into the water and letting their hair down.
Finalist 3: John Walsh: The Volvo Air Show
John took this picture of the Red Arrows at the Volvo Ocean Race last summer in Galway. It was a beautiful sunny day and he took the photo from Sathill.
Finalist 4: Darren Murray: Claire and Hannah at Wicklow Gap
Darren is an amateur photographer from Co. Wicklow and he took this picture of his two daughters Claire and Hannah in the Wicklow Gap while they were on Mid Term Break in March 2008.
It was a lovely sunny crisp day and his daughters were so happy to be on their school holidays. On this day Darren forgot to pack Claire's coat so she is seen in the picture wearing Darren's golf rain top.
Both girls attend St Patrick's School in Bray, Claire is in 4th class and Hannah is in 1st class.
Finalist 5: Ruairi O'Byrne: His son Joshua being born
Ruairi took this picture of his son who was born on the 28th of November 2008. He is now 15 months old. He weighed 8lbs 8oz. His wife is Caroline.
Finalist 6: Keith Sciascia: Jumping off the cliff in Bundoran
He was at Sea Sessions in Bundoran last summer and people started jumping off the pier as the sun was going down and he just thought it would make a lovely picture. Keith is from Galway and is studying for a Masters in Finance.
