Actress Sarah Bolger is on The Afternoon Show to talk about her recent IFTA nomination and about her upcoming projects.

. Sarah is 18 years old and is from Rathfarnham in Dublin.
. Her first role aged 8 was in the move 'A Love Divided'.
. Sarah is recognisable as playing Christy in the Oscar nominated, Jim Sheridan directed, 'In America' along with her sister Emma. The part was originally for a 14 year old but Jim Sheridan was so impressed that he gave it to ten year old Sarah.
. She won a Phoenix Film Critics Award for her role in 'In America'.
. Her dad Derek owns a butcher shop in Rialto and Sarah can sometimes be seen helping out behind the counter. Her mother Monica accompanies her to auditions and meetings.
. Tom Cruise sang Happy Birthday to Sarah at the aftershow party at the Independent Spirit Awards in 2004.
. She starred alongside Mickey Rourke in Stormbreaker who she called a 'gentleman'.
. She won the prestigious Shooting Star award at the Berlin Film Festival.
. In 2009 she was nominated for Rising Star and Best Supporting Actress for "The Spiderwick Chronicles" at the IFTA's.
. She is nominated for a Best Supporting Actress in for her role as Mary Tudor in The Tudors.
. She was starstruck when Ewan McGregor was on Stormbreaker set.
. She became friends with Saoirse Ronan when they met an IFTA event.
. She has the same agent as Kate Winslet.
. In the Herald on Friday 22nd of January she revealed that she is single.
