Taragh Loughrey-Grant
Taragh Loughrey-Grant, Entertainment Journalist with RTE.ie has been working in TV, radio and print for over 10 years. She studied at DCU before going on to UCD where she graduated with a Masters in 2002. Whilst studying, Taragh worked as a freelance writer with a number of Ireland's leading publications and worked on several projects as a freelance presenter and producer for TV3, RTÉ's Nationwide and for RTÉ's former station Tara TV. She worked as a continuity presenter for TV3 before becoming the Film and Entertainment Correspondent for FM104 radio.

In 2006 she began presenting and producing both Channel 6's (now 3e) film show 'Take 6' and Phantom 105.2's 'Cinerama'. In January 2009 Taragh joined RTÉ as an online Entertainment Journalist and has since co-presented TTV. She is a regular contributor to The Tubridy Show and Arena, presented by Seán Rocks on RTÉ Radio One and the soap correspondent with The Afternoon Show.

This Week: Rachel gives Niamh the letter from Paul that Sean tore up last week. Rachel has pieced and sellotaped the letter together again.

Jo and Dermot argue over child care arrangements again, with Dermot still chafing over his refusal of a new job last week. Jo enlists Kylie to help her with some babysitting. Dermot tries to be supportive to Kylie, as she picks up the pieces of her life.
Cass returns to Carrigstown without his van, 'Snowy', whose loss he explains is a long story, possibly related to a card game. Paul covers when Cass asks after Niamh.
Cass suggests to Niamh that he move in with her for a spell but she declines this offer. Charlie suggests to Cass that he book into the Shelter, if he's between homes. Cass is unimpressed with this suggestion. Cass manipulates Bela into offering him a room, temporarily. Bela agrees but only if Charlie gives the plan the thumbs up. Charlie agrees to Cass staying but falls short of approving Cass' dog, Shebe, moving in. Cass seems determined to get around this stipulation.

Paul asks Ray to speak with Niamh on his behalf. Ray agrees very reluctantly, "for Gina's sake." Ray and Sean are concerned about Niamh's mental state and Sean encourages her to take a holiday. Paul reiterates his need for Niamh to forgive him after she has read his letter. Niamh refrains from giving him any reassurance that this is possible. Later, Niamh confides in Orla that she still loves Paul. Orla backs Sean's idea that Niamh take some time out of Carrigstown. Niamh decides some time out is the best plan and makes preparations for her departure to a spa retreat in Kildare. Sean lies to Niamh that he will pass on news of her departure to Paul.

Dean solicits Leo for a pint but is disappointed to be turned down.

Bob asks Louie for more hours at the Hungry Pig but Louie turns him down, brusque as ever. Bob accuses Christy of being on a power-trip when acting as his manager at McCoy's. Christy warns Bob that Louie doesn't think he's pulling his weight at McCoy's so he'd better buck up.

Eastenders Monday 7:30pm RTÉ One

THIS WEEK: In the Square, Billy watches DCI Marsden direct the removal of the tarpaulin covering the door to the Vic. Mo also watches, moaning that the police aren't doing enough to catch Archie's killer or to get their local pub open again. Billy's angry at Mo's tactless attitude but he is interrupted by a surprising telephone call.

Zainab is rushed off her feet at the Masala Queen unit and calls on help from an unhappy Tamwar who complains he should be revising. Tamwar suggests his mum call Christian. Zainab is not impressed with the suggestion. Tamwar then shows his mum a postcard from Syed. Her face lights up and she and she comments on how Syed and Amira were 'made for each other'.

In the street, Heather reminds Zainab of the anniversary of the book club meeting and asks if she wants to host it not realising that Zainab hasn't been invited. Upset, Zainab bumps into Christian, who tells her Jane isn't in. Zainab proudly shows Christian the postcard from Syed which deeply upsets him.

At the Beale household, Peter is watching a film of Lauren on his laptop. Upset - she dumped him last week - Peter deletes the footage. Then Christian tells him that deleting it won't change the way he feels. Desperate now to get it back, Peter asks geek Tamwar for his help.

Heather and Shirley arrive with George for the book club meeting, followed by Denise who isn't happy to see them. Jane fills everyone's glasses ready to make a toast, when Denise asks after Zainab. Jane tells them that Zainab couldn't come, just as she appears stating that she hadn't been invited. Denise is angry that Heather is invited, and seeing an argument about to erupt, Jane steps in and suggests celebrating everyone's yearly achievements. Zainab proudly shows the postcard from Syed, whilst Jane makes snide comments about his happiness. Zainab goes into the kitchen where Jane and now Christian are, whilst Denise and Heather continue to argue about Darren and George and Libby. Jane makes it clear to Zainab that she disapproves of her attitude towards Syed being gay. Zainab tells Jane she doesn't understand because she doesn't have children of her own. Angry, Jane throws Zainab out, while everyone watches on, shocked.

Back home, Zainab sees Tamwar listening to a file on Peter's laptop. Protesting that it is none of her business and that it's one of Peter's lost files, Zainab orders her son to play it. She hears the shocking and unsavoury sounds of Ian and Janine together...

At the Slater house, preparations are in flow for Jean's birthday party. Bradley quietly tells Stacey he can see her baby bump but tells Stacey that keeping the pregnancy a secret is for the best. At the window, Stacey panics when she spots DCI Marsden and another officer outside and calls Bradley. Bradley reassures her that no one knows he was in the pub on Christmas Day, and that all will be well soon. Jean overhears this and worries that Bradley and Stacey are leaving. Stacey later tells Bradley she felt the baby kick.

Max arrives and tells Jack that he will get him the money he owes him soon. They all wish Jean a happy birthday as Stacey tells Bradley she felt the baby move again. Seeing Bradley's hand on Stacey's stomach Jean realises that Stacey is pregnant and wraps her arms around her while everyone watches. Although happy, Jean tells Stacey she feels that having a baby may send her over the edge. Storming out of the house, Jean checks Stacey's bag for her medication and finds the baby scans.

Janine walks out of the café, and sees DCI Marsden outside the Vic. Nervous, she moves to Whitney's stall to get a better look. Janine tells Whitney she is used to people calling her a murderer and even her own brother agrees, before walking away. Later, DCI Marsden knocks at Janine's door and tells her she's had a 'tip-off'. She asks Janine why she was out on Christmas Day. DCI Marsden then questions Janine about Archie's laptop going missing only to be told by Janine she knows nothing about it.

Peggy and Phil prepare to go to Sam's court hearing. Peggy confides in Phil her suspicions about Glenda. Meanwhile, Glenda talks to Ronnie and Roxy about her life in France and how she wished she had the courage to stay with them all those years ago.

When they finally arrive at court Sam bitterly tells Peggy she's been sentenced to 18 months imprisonment. Sam tells Peggy when she gets out she is going to start a new life, without her family as they always let her down. Back at home, Peggy tells Glenda, Roxy and Ronnie about the hearing, and tells Ronnie and Roxy she is glad she still has them, whilst Glenda looks on with envy.

Billy arrives and tells them that he has been made executor of Archie's will. Billy informs everyone that they all have to be at the reading, including Janine, despite Peggy's protests. Peggy suggest that she cook a family dinner, only to be told by Glenda that she has booked a table at Fargo's. Annoyed, Peggy puts on a brave face and agrees that they all should go out. In the living room, Peggy opens Glenda's case and sees something that intrigues her.

Coronation Street Monday 7:30pm TV3

THIS WEEK: Joe and Gail are enjoying the Lake District and Gail tells Joe just how happy he makes her. Meanwhile Joe's mind is racing as he worries about Tina back in Weatherfield and what Rick might be planning.

Meanwhile back at the Platt's David is fishing and tried to get Nick to admit that the Tina is the reason he is sticking around. Nick takes it in good spirits and teases David back saying he really wants to spend time with him. Tina can't help feeling relieved when Nick finally does leave for Nottingham.

The factory girls are less than impressed when they discover that Sally has been given time off despite all leave being banned. When Hayley and Sally's stories don't add up they demand some answers.

Sally however doesn't have too long to worry about the attitude of her colleagues however when Rosie finds herself in yet another predicament. It seems some of the more suggestive shots she did for her portfolio have found their way onto an advert at the bus stop. Rosie is initially mortified but when her parents react badly she retaliates with some unintentionally hurtful comments.

Elsewhere Norris is shocked when Mary turns up and railroads him into coming for dinner in the motor home. Molly tries to work at her marriage as she and Tyrone mark their first wedding anniversary.

Emmerdale Monday & all weekdays 7pm TV3

THIS WEEK: Natasha's suspicions are confirmed when Mark's lies are unveiled
Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) is in turmoil as he agonises about telling his family he's leaving with Faye (Kim Thomson). Unable to go through with it, he lies to Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) that he has a meeting in town and heads out to see Faye. Natasha is sure he's lying and her suspicions are confirmed when she discovers he doesn't have a meeting and has fabricated the whole thing. Spotting his car outside the café, she calls him and is dismayed when he continues to lie about his meeting and claims he's in town. Natasha stakes out Faye's cottage and when she sees Mark walk out, she sits utterly motionless, her eyes glistening with hurt and betrayal as her worst fears become a reality. Will Natasha play Mark at his own game or confront him about his affair?

Aaron uses Holly to disguise his true feelings
Aaron (Danny Miller) is still troubled by Adam's (Adam Thomas) telling everyone he's gay and when he realises he's been quite cool with Holly (Sophie Powles), he makes sure Adam is listening when he invites her round to his, claiming Paddy (Dominic Brunt) is going out. Later, when Paddy walks in on him and Holly getting intimate on the sofa, Aaron feigns surprise. Will Holly catch on to the fact that Aaron is using her?

Charity causes trouble at the factory
Charity (Emma Atkins) is finding work at the factory tedious and is put out when Chas (Lucy Pargeter) asserts her authority as supervisor. Later, Nikhil (Rik Makarem) is unimpressed when he discovers her messing around but realises he's met his match when she doesn't allow him to belittle her and gives as good as she gets.
