Another Friday the 13th is upon us this is the 3rd one this year, the last time it happened was back in 1998.

Fear of the number 13 goes by the seemingly unpronounceable "triskaidekaphobia," from the Greek "tris" for three, "kai" for and, "deka" for 10, plus "phobia" for fear.

Hibernian Aviva research found that shows that there were 14% less accidents on Friday 13th than any other Friday during 2007 and 2008. This suggests that fears about bad luck on Friday 13th may actually have a positive impact on driving behavior, making our roads safer for everyone.
