Ellen Gunning MA, MIAPR, FPRII, NUJ is a journalist, broadcaster and pr consultant. She is from Dublin. She presents the Mediascope programme each week on 103.2 Dublin City fm.
In summer 2009, she presented and produced the 13-week Capital Women of Influence series, broadcast on Dublin City fm. The series was made with the assistance of the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland.
Ellen holds an honours MA in Communications and Cultural Studies from Dublin City University. She has served as a Government appointed director to the boards of the National Concert Hall and the Central Council of the Irish Red Cross.
She is a director of the Irish Academy of Public Relations, and is author of 'Public Relations - a practical approach' (Gill and Macmillan, 2007). She is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland and former National Chairperson of the International Public Relations Association. She did work with St V de Paul and other charities.
