Nicky is a house hold name from fronting the Channel 4 series Ten Years Younger. She is a personal stylist by trade and will be working on the the Appletiser StyleFix taking place at Dundrum Town Centre this weekend!
However Nicky wasn't always a TV star and stylist. As a child she always had an interest in fashion, but went down the more traditional route and became a dietitian. She had her own private practice in Capetown until deciding to up and leave to London for a career in marketing.
In 2001 she set up her own style consultancy firm Tramp2Vamp, which took about two years to get established. It is now called NHJ Style Consultancy. She has over 5,000 clients on her books from all over Britain and Europe.
She wrote a book called Top To Toe, which was a self-improvement guide for women, which covered topics as how to find Mr Right, get a more inspiring job, become more confident and be happy with your body shape.
Her first TV appearance was on an ITV documentary called, First Wives. She was the style expert called in at the end of the show to offer them makeover advice. When the TV company asked her to audition for Ten Years Younger and was initially turned down because of her accent!
In 2008 she established NHJ Style Academy which teaches the future top stylists in Britain.
Nicky is the face of Transitions Lenses, Clairol Root Touch Up and style adviser for Freeman's catalogues.
