FAI Summer Soccer School Programme. The schools are a great way for children to have fun and encourage their participation skills, as well as being a good health incentive. If a child wants to take up soccer and join a club, then the scheme helps them in trying to find a soccer club and general encouragement.
. Largest FAI grassroots football programme in Ireland
. Open to boys and girls aged 7-15
. Week long coaching programme July 6th & August 28th annually
. Focus in on fun, enjoyment, making friends and improving skills
. Child will gain in self esteem, feel part of group and hopefully join a local club as a result if he /she is not a member already.i.e. Summer Camps are a great launch pad into football and sport for children.
. 290 camps in 2009 over 25'000 children expected to attend.
. Camps As Gaeilge will take place in Counties Donegal, Galway and Kerry. There will also be five "Football For All" camps with Down Syndrome Ireland and St Joseph's School for Deaf Children. 30 FAI Summer Soccer Schools in RAPID areas
. Female participation hugely important over 15% girls expected to attend

. You can also book by post and brochures/postal application forms are available at all host clubs or by calling 1890 653 653.
When should I book?
. This is an extremely popular programme and therefore places book out very quickly
. 90% of camps will be 100% full well in advance of the start date
. Participants cannot book on the first day.they must book in advance. FAI strongly advises people to book early to avoid disappointment.
