Taragh Loughrey-Grant has been working in TV, radio and print for over 10 years. She studied at DCU before going on to UCD where she graduated with a Masters in 2002. Whilst studying, Taragh worked as a freelance writer with a number of Ireland's leading publications and worked on several projects as a freelance presenter and producer for TV3, RTÉ's Nationwide and for RTÉ's former station Tara TV. She worked as a continuity presenter for TV3 before becoming the Film and Entertainment Correspondent for FM104 radio.
In 2006 she began presenting and producing both Channel 6's (now 3e) film show 'Take 6' and Phantom 105.2's 'Cinerama'. In January 2009 Taragh joined RTÉ as an online Entertainment Journalist and has since co-presented TTV. She is a regular contributor to The Tubridy Show on RTÉ Radio One and the soap correspondent with The Afternoon Show.

Sarah witnesses a barbed exchange between Deegan and Ian, in the course of Garda duty, and Zumo, who reiterates his threat to expose Deegan on the Joe Duffy Show and in the papers. Deegan criticises Ian's handling of Zumo and blames him for Zumo's getting the upper hand. Deegan warns Zumo to stay away from Sarah who tries to interrogate Ian for more leads on this story. Ian flirts with Sarah. Ian suggests they plant drugs on Zumo but Deegan rejects this on principle
Mark is upset to discover Damien has moved out. Damien tells Mark his marriage to Suzanne is over because they disagreed over whether to have children. Mark tells Suzanne he doesn't want her to move out. Keith offers Damien a place to stay. Robin argues with Keith and Sarah about letting Damien stay without consulting her.
Eastenders Monday 7:30pm RTE One
Later in the Vic, Shirley arrives looking for Phil but Peggy tells her to get lost just as Phil arrives. Phil staggers through the pub drunk and approaches a mortified Peggy. Peggy refuses to speak to him or let anyone serve him. His mood darkens and the pub falls to a deathly silence. There is a stand off between Phil and Peggy and Phil lays into his mum, reminding her of all the mistakes she has made in her life "not so mighty now, are we?" He threatens to sell his half of the Vic from under her "I've done it before" then helps himself to a bottle of vodka and heads upstairs
At the hospital, Roxy tells Ronnie that the wedding pictures arrived earlier and it's clear Peggy still loves Archie. Roxy points out that she can't help who she falls in love with and says that she would do anything for one minute alone with Sean. She points out to Ronnie that she still has her chance with Jack and tells her sister to go to him. Ronnie doesn't want to leave her sister alone as they're worried about Peggy who unaware to them is in the toilets sobbing uncontrollably. Ronnie later tells Jack that Roxy has given them her blessing to be together again
EastEnders has been named the best soap at the British Soap Awards for the second year running. It took seven awards - one more than its closest rival Coronation Street - with Robert Kazinsky, who plays Sean Slater, winning best actor. Barbara Windsor, who plays Peggy Mitchell in EastEnders, won a lifetime achievement award.

As Dev plans his proposal to Tara she's putting the finishing touches to her own plan. Both agree that tonight will be an important night for them but their agendas couldn't be further apart. As Dev goes ring shopping Tara makes sure her art installation is ready to be revealed. When Dev returns and the crowds gather his excitement over the big occasion suddenly makes her realise the enormity of what she's about to do. Steeling herself for the unveiling Tara begins her speech but when Dev suddenly falls to one knee will Tara have a change of heart?
Mary tells Norris she's prepared to wait for him until he's ready to leave and go travelling with her. But Norris is horrified to discover she's waiting in the motor home which she's now parked on the street. Panic stricken Norris argues that Rita still needs his support.

Meanwhile, the war rages on between Adelaide and her nemesis Róise, with Mack stuck smack bang in the middle. Róise is furious to learn she's barred from setting foot in Mack and Adelaide's house. Not one to take things lying down, Róise thinks she's won the battle when she flouts Adelaide's ban on house calls, but Adelaide wins the war by putting on the waterworks and pleading with Mack to keep Róise at arms length. First Donncha was blacklisted by Adelaide and then she barred contact with Brenda and now Róise is off limits. How many more friends will Mack have to cut out of his life before fiancée Adelaide is happy?
Berni decides to get to the bottom of David's fling and tracks down Helen to demand an explanation. However, Berni gets more than she bargained for when Helen reveals that she and David never slept together. Helen and David developed a deep connection but David's strong morals meant he never gave in to temptation. During an emotional reunion with David, Berni tells him she wants to overcome this obstacle in their relationship, but will she feel the same when David reveals that his feelings for Helen were more than just a physical attraction?
