Jan's dress diary:-
The stores are choc full of short, strapless, one -shouldered dresses, which is a big bonus as everyone has great shoulders!.
There are lots of tribal style prints (you need to be careful when choosing a print dress that it doesn't make you look bigger than you are) and there is a real mix of trends out there from the maxi to the mine, the mini shift and tonnes of body con, which is not for the faint hearted or for those with generous lumps & bumps!
Generally there is something out there for everyone but the key is to try it on first. Don't ever be tempted to buy without trying- you'll inevitably end up making a return trip or wasting your money entirely. And always take your body shape into account, bear in mind that maxi dresses are possibly better on taller girls, they tend to swamp petite frames etc.
