BEFORE you blowdry:
1. Proper shampooing technique - don't scrub
2. Conditioner - rinse rinse rinse!!
3. NEVER brush your hair when wet the hair will break
4. ALWAYS use a comb - wide tooth comb
5. Gently towel dry - pat dry

WHEN DAMP/towel dried...step by step:

1.) Should you turn your head over and blast with the hair dryer for volume.
Gary says "good idea, hair should not be soaking wet when you blowdry so you should take 50% of the wetness out. Also, good for volume, but depends on hair type"
2.)Section hair with sectioning clips - take nice neat sections
3.) The longer the hair the bigger the brush / shorter the hair the smaller the brush
4.) The aim is to push the hair around the brush with the nozzle of the hair dryer - the curl effect creates the body!

Brushes:
What are the best utensils? i.e. Brushes - size, metal etc..
Gary Says that "Round, ceramic brushes are the best - ceramic brushes are more efficient as they heat up really well and your hair gets heat from both sides.
