A bit about Celebrity Bainisteoir:
Celebrity Bainisteoir is a programme about eight Irish non-sporting personalities who manage an intermediate club football team from their own home county in an official GAA tournament.
Each Bainisteoir put their respective teams through months of training in all sorts of weather. The first quarter final was between Gerald Kean's Mayfield team from Cork against Glenda Gilson's Crumlin team. Kean's team won and went on to challenge other teams, getting into the final against Marty Whelan's team, with Marty's team winning.

Each of the Bainisteoirí has an experienced mentor to help them train and manage the team. Bainisteoirí were responsible for team training and tactics and for picking the teams.
