Taragh Loughrey-Grant has been working in TV, radio and print for over 10 years. She studied at DCU before going on to UCD where she graduated with a Masters in 2002. Whilst studying, Taragh worked as a freelance writer with a number of Ireland's leading publications and worked on several projects as a freelance presenter and producer for TV3, RTÉ's Nationwide and for RTÉ's former station Tara TV. She worked as a continuity presenter for TV3 before becoming the Film and Entertainment Correspondent for FM104 radio.

In 2006 she began presenting and producing both Channel 6's (now 3e) film show 'Take 6' and Phantom 105.2's 'Cinerama'. In January 2009 Taragh joined RTÉ as an online Entertainment Journalist and has since co-presented TTV. She is a regular contributor to The Tubridy Show on RTÉ Radio One and the soap correspondent with The Afternoon Show.


Fair City Tuesday 8pm RTE One - Hour Long Special!

Fellow election candidate, Mohinder, tells Peggy there's to be a debate that night. Ronnie accuses Peggy of putting the election above family, but Dot and Roxy persuade Peggy to carry on. At the debate Peggy's speech starts badly; but boosted by Ronnie's arrival she talks from her heart. The speech is a resounding success. At the Vic Archie tells everyone how proud he is, but as he proposes a toast to Peggy she collapses..

Leo informs Barry he spotted Annette, "pretty out of it," at the Bradley hotel. Barry informs McAleer but insists on going to the hotel alone, where he finds Annette, hammered, at the bar. When Barry tells Annette he pleaded innocent at the arraignment, because he wanted to stay free to help her get back on the wagon, she is appalled and flees back to the bar. Barry catches up with her and declares his love but she slams their relationship, maintaining it always lacked passion. Barry is crushed.


Eastenders Monday 7:30pm RTE One

Shirley and Heather prepare an early St Patrick's Day party in the Vic. When Minty tells Heather they need to talk she thinks he wants her back. He corners her at the party as she's about to sing. Mo and Charlie take to the stage, but Heather is still wearing her microphone and her conversation with Minty is heard through the speakers. Heather tries to kiss Minty but he tells her he's met someone else. Shirley rushes in and throws Minty out.

Coronation Street Monday 8:30pm TV3

Tom is upset when Maria informs she has taken involved Tony in the lad rags clothing business.

Following their meeting with Luke, Tom and Maria now meet with Tony to discuss Ladrags. Tom is surprised that Maria has got Tony involved but she insists she wants someone to cast an objective eye over the business and that she has changed her opinion of Tony. Tony tells Maria some home truths about the business and about Tom.


Ros na Run Tues and Thurs 8:30pm TG4
Frances can see that Tadhg is shaken by the phone call and encourages Tadhg to go to the funeral to show Jason his support. Will Tadhg be forced to admit the long and chequered history which has lead to so much bad blood between himself and his son Jason?
The villagers of Ros na Rún celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Café owner Berni wants to spend the day with her live-in lover David and her son Evan but she is disappointed to learn that David is attending a special philosophy lecture in Galway. David strikes up a conversation with his pretty classmate Helen and spends the afternoon discussing philosophy. Will David's blossoming friendship with Helen drive an even bigger wedge in his already troubled relationship with Berni?
