ANY INTERESTING STORIES ON THE SPECIFIC WINE
The De Bortoli family arrived in Australia in 1924 from Northern Italy with very little except passports and determination. They bought a 55 acre property at Bilbul in the Riverina in New South Wales. Deen, his son, succeeded and now Darren, Kevin, Victor and Leanne are in charge.  The range spans every level from popular wines to the finest award-winning cuvées. Their motto is "Semper ad Major" - Always thriving for better. The Windy Peak range comes from Victoria's finest vineyards.  Grapes for the Windy Peak Riesling are machine picked, crushed and lightly pressed. Cold fermentation to preserve the natural aromatic fruit characters of Riesling.
