Mary Kennedy - 'Lines I Love'

The lovely Mary Kennedy is with us to talk about her new book, 'Lines I Love'!
Mary Kennedy (born 1956) in Clondalkin, Dublin.
She was educated at Coláiste Bride in Clondalkin and UCD where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts.
She taught English in Brittany, France before returning to her alma mater? To teach Irish and French.
Kennedy's broadcasting career started in 1978 when she applied for a job as continuity announcer in RTÉ.
She went on to join the RTÉ News team, becoming a newscaster.
She has also presented the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest, a Saturday night chat show simply called Kennedy and was co-presenter with Marty Whelan on the magazine programme Open House.
She is currently Michael Ryan's co-presenter on the RTÉ local affairs show Nationwide.
